WHY ARE WE FUNDRAISING?
The PTSA is Fundraising for multiple reasons. One of our bigger goals is to form an Anti-Bullying Campaign. We would like to bring in presenters for an assembly to all grades on bullying. We would like to host an educational dinner for parents and kids about bullying. The PTSA would like to bring in banners, swag, and murals focused on kindness and stopping bullying.
Along with this campaign we are trying to revitalize the Reflections program for students. We would like to continue to offer family engagement opportunities such as Family Movie Night and Family Game Night.
We hope you share our same passion and will make a donation in any amount.
If you are interested in helping to promote and plan the Anti-Bullying Campaign you can email Alayna at Secretary.CedarHeightsPTSA@gmail.com for more information.
1-2-3-4 WE DECLARE A PENNY WAR!
Running for only ONE week in April!
Each grade will be asked to bring change to help their grade win the Penny War.
April 22-26th the PTSA will be set up in the cafeteria for students to donate their spare change to help their grade.
This fundraiser will be the last this year and is to give next year's PTSA team a good foundation to start with.
Funds will be used next year for:
- Movie Night (requires a movie license)
- Game Night
- Concessions for family engagements events and 4 school socials put on by the ASB.
- Anti-bullying Program possible expansion
- Staff & Teacher Appreciation
- Teacher Grants, which have not been reinstated since the pandemic due to funding
SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR!
The Book Fair is sponsored and ran by the PTSA. We had a good turn out for the fall book fair, held during the Parent-Teacher Conferences. Proceeds earned from the fall fair are being donated to the library to purchase books with the incoming 6th graders in mind. Thank you to all who came to shop.
This year, the Book Fair was held November 16th-22nd, 2023. With the added families for 6th grade we did increase our sales. Again, all donations (Scholastic Dollars) have been gifted back to the library to purchase more books.
BUTTER BRAID FUNDRAISER!
Our first selling fundraiser since 2019. Our goal was $3500, and while we did not achieve that goal we are proud of all those who participated. We hope we can slowing grow this fundraiser. Many thanks to those who help put this fundraiser on, especially Melissa D. for donating the envelopes!
RESTAURANT NIGHT FUNDRAISER!
In the past we have held a restaurant night fundraiser at Red Robin and McDonald's. We will keep you posted if we hold another one! Please take the time to join us for fun, food, friends, and a little donation! Hope to see you there.
